Services
There are 3 emergency medical stations for Ogemaw County that are located in West Branch, Rose City and Mills Township. The Ogemaw County EMS Authority provides 24-hour emergency and non-emergency pre-hospital medical care for individuals experiencing injury or illness. On many instances the initial emergency care rendered by a paramedic is the deciding factor between life and death, temporary or permanent disability, a brief confinement or a pro-longed hospitalization for a patient. In critical situations, paramedics are required to demonstrate leadership, well-developed human relations skills, rapid decision-making, and a high degree of empathy for both the patients and their families. Constant training and upgrading has raised the level of skill and abilities of the Ogemaw County EMS staff.

Along with the pre-hospital medical care we are also involved in helping educate our community. We are involved with educational speaking to local schools, allowing the students to learn about ambulance services, tour the ambulance and to learn about saftey precautions in thier daily lives. We are present at football games and other local sporting events. We participate in supporting events at our county fair and provide a first aid station for the week.
